Practically Recognizing my Own Potential (Part 2): DAY 7
The Desteni of Living – Utmost Potential (Part 7)
The Principle of Realising and Living my Utmost Potential

In this post and posts to come, I am discussing what ‘Realising and Living my Utmost Potential’ practically means – through showing how I have (and still do) live and realise this Principle.

STEP 1: Recognizing my own Potential (Self Forgiveness)

So, when I started the process of forgiving myself for accepting and allowing such thoughts, for accepting and allowing the emotions to overwhelm me, for accepting and allowing myself to immediately take another’s words personally – especially with an emotional starting point…my eyes started to open to what I was in fact doing to myself and how little I could in fact trust my own thoughts and emotions when it came to listening to them and automatically believing them in this context of taking another’s words personally…instead of taking that step back, HEARING their words, considering them and then responding with commonsense.

In this post I will walk a practical example process of how I assisted and supported myself to change this point within me and my living.

A suggestion I have for those starting process, is to look for yourself in your mind / relationship with others – the ONE point you would like to start changing.
What I did for myself was start my process with the above point I walked in the previous blog and this blog now, which was ‘taking things personally’. I identified this point based on the extent of emotion that was involved within it. Meaning, I asked myself the question: “in what moments / with whom in my life do I ‘break down / become the most emotional’?” Essentially, having a look at where, when and towards whom in my current real-time life experience I accepted and allowed my own thoughts and emotions to change who and how I am the most. With asking myself this question – I identified this point of taking things personally and from there started walking my process of writing, forgiveness and corrective application. To understand WHY and how I accepted and allowed such a point to exist within me, to become AWARE of who I am in relation to the point, its consequences / compromises on me and others, to then from there assert and direct myself to CHANGE me and so my relationship with others.

What I personally found in the beginning of my process is that it was easier for me to identify emotions – the energy-experiences of the Mind. This because the ‘taking things personally’ point was so extensive within me and my relationship to others together – that my Mind moved so FAST in the beginning of my process; I often struggled to be able to stop participation in my thoughts / backchats / projections that would come up and would only realise I was already possessed within a Mind point when the emotional energy was overwhelming.
Later on in my process I came to realise that the main REASON my thoughts, memories, backchats, projections etc. would move so fast, almost too fast for me to take a step back within myself and breathe before the energy would start coming up, is because I had been fuelling this point with emotional energy for most of my life. So much so that, before I knew it – I was already participating in and believing my thoughts, falling into emotional energy and in that state – I was completely in my mind, in an emotional state. There are many things that contribute to a point within your Mind being overwhelming, but for the beginning of your process – starting with taking responsibility for emotions / being in an emotional state will assist and support greatly with taking the first step of realising and applying your potential to decide who and how you are within yourself and your living.

In terms of the research we have done throughout the years through the Portal, we have found that our Minds primarily function off of emotional and feeling energy, so if a point in the Mind contains A LOT of energy – this allows for this point to overwhelm you more easily. Therefore, as with me – when I started taking on the emotional energy connected to the ‘taking things personally’, every moment it came up and I became aware of the energy, how it made me feel, the effects of it on my physical body – I would start speaking self forgiveness within myself until I stabilize and the energy release. Then, once I was out of the energy-veil (this is what I found emotional energy does – it veils you from seeing the detail of what in the mind contributed to generating the substantial amount of energy to be able to see / investigate and introspect the thoughts I would listen to / automatically believe coming up within me) – so, once I was out of the energy-veil, I would sit with myself and write-out what exactly triggered within me, check the nature of the thoughts / backchats / projections and then the next time commit to look out for them and start practising stop participating in the thoughts etc. BEFORE the emotional energy would activate and take over.

Another reason I had found it to be easier to initially identify and forgive emotional energy in relation to a specific point, is that: if you look at where thoughts / backchats / memories etc. comes up – it manifests directly within the centre of your head. This contributes to you more easily / readily directly being caught up in the things that come up in the head – because it’s like “right in your face”, in a way. Yet, emotional energy – I have found, comes up in the solar plexus area of the physical body and because for most of your life, your attention/focus had been right in front of you/within you in the head area – you have more ‘time and space’ to assess, feel and become aware of energy activating in the solar plexus area of the body as you have to actually move yourself / your awareness to a different point / part of your body to identify / define the energy coming up.

In the next post, I will expand more on practical ways I have played with in the beginning of my process as an example of how you can start your process of taking the first step of realising your potential to decide and so change who / how you are within yourself and your living. Also, how I assisted and supported myself to slow myself down, which slowed my Mind down to be able to see and so direct myself effectively in relation to my Mind as the thoughts and emotions.

It’s not about the SIZE of the SEED…: DAY 4
The Desteni of Living – Utmost Potential (Part 4)
The Principle of Realising and Living my Utmost Potential

In this post and posts to come, I am discussing what ‘Realising and Living my Utmost Potential’ practically means – through showing how I have (and still do) live and realise this Principle.

STEP 1: Recognizing my own Potential (Self Forgiveness)

Obviously this MOMENT where you step back, access your potential/being/awareness, assess the thoughts and emotions and then CHANGE – the CHANGE PROCESS, is a process in itself as well…and this I will continue with in the next post, together with a practical example of moments during the early years of my process that were significant when I started accessing my potential, my me and started growing as the seed of potential, of awareness…eventually into and as LIFE.

One afternoon, a friend of mine’s 4-year-old asked me to watch a movie with him – The Lorax. As I was watching the movie I could immediately relate two specific dimensions walked within the movie to what we’re walking here in relation to the seed of self-potential; when you become / realise yourself as the seed of potential when you show yourself how you can change. In this post, I will share these two dimensions and how they relate to the seed of self-potential and do suggest watching the movie.

"It's not about what it is. It's about what it can become."

In the movie, there is an interaction between two characters – where the one is holding a seed and the other states “It’s not about what it is. It’s about what it can become”. Essentially meaning that it’s not the SIZE of the seed that is of significance…but what that SEED can BECOME…

Having a look at the SEED of self-POTENTIAL we’re in the process of walking here – I find this to be quite relevant, because when you start walking your process you have to walk it MOMENT by MOMENT. You cannot KNOW who (in your beingness/presence) and how (in your thought, word and deed) you’ll become – because this is not a process that is walked with knowledge only, there is a direct-relationship between knowledge and APPLICATION. Meaning: your self-change process starts small, like a small seed – the MOMENTS where you realise that you can stop participation in thoughts/reactions and behaviour patterns and then actually change within yourself and behaviour in that MOMENT…this is where YOU as the SEED start growing.
So, for your self-potential to become REAL, to be LIVED – there has to be a direct-relationship between knowledge and application/living. The knowledge in this process being writing, self forgiveness (which is the practical process to walk, facilitating change from consciousness to awareness) and then the application/living of what you realised about yourself in how you can change that you could see while walking writing and self forgiveness. So, the process, the platform of ACCESSING the SEED and then GROWING as the seed is HERE – all that you need to do is walk / apply it for yourself…

What many will be able to relate to when it comes to this process is: especially in the beginning – where you really only start with the very, very, very small seed – you cannot immediately see / experience yourself changing, because the change happens gradually as you move yourself and change yourself in thought, word and deed. This is the part where the above statement "It's not about what it is. It's about what it can become" is of significance – because the process of change takes time and patience, and in space and time, as you walk change moment by moment – every moment you apply/live the change in real-time: you as the seed start growing, almost unnoticeable until your being/awareness starts breaking through the mind/consciousness, embodies itself into and as the physical and you can noticeably start seeing/experiencing your self-change based on how you change in your living and general experience.

I, myself – when I started walking this process, there were moments where I wondered whether I was changing…but it often showed in the most unexpected of ways in the most unpredictable of moments, where my self-change NATURALLY came through based on the dedication and discipline to the SMALL MOMENTS I applied/lived self forgiveness and changed myself in thought, word and deed.

In the next post I will continue with the second dimension that opened up while watching The Lorax movie and then bring all the knowledge and information I shared thus far into practical living examples for you to be able to more practically comprehend how and why this process of change takes time, patience and discipline. Because, if you look at a seed – a seed starts GROWING from WITHIN…it doesn’t ‘look to the future’ in terms of ‘thinking about’ what it’s going to become, nor does it ‘look to the future’ and think about the process it has to walk to reach its utmost potential. This is what we often do within our Minds…we project to the future, look at the process ahead…instead of realising that self-growth of self-potential and the becoming/living of our utmost potential is a process walked from within, moment to moment into and as the without.

The Desteni of Living – Utmost Potential: DAY 2
The Principle of Realising and Living my Utmost Potential

In this post and posts to come, I am discussing what ‘Realising and Living my Utmost Potential’ practically means – through showing how I have (and still do) live and realise this Principle.

STEP 1: Recognizing my own Potential (Self Forgiveness)

Here I will walk a Self Forgiveness Process showing how I accepted and allowed myself to suppress me and so my potential, to the extent of not even recognizing that I had potential. Essentially constructing myself in my Mind in such a way where I ‘lost’ a part of myself and completely embraced the acceptance and allowance of self limitation. This so severe that, when I was given Responsibility – more than I had ever had, it took me a while to break through the barriers of self limitation I had set for myself. It was quite a process within myself and between this individual that gave me the responsibility to eventually allow myself to open up to myself, my potential and FOR MYSELF see what I am able to do if I would but only allow myself to see / realise and apply / live. In this Self Forgiveness and Self Commitment Process I will show the process of what I faced in my Mind and outside world in relation to self-limitation and how I assisted and supported myself to transcend this:

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed the self-belief of “I am not good enough”

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see, realise and understand how such a self-belief – if given enough thoughts and energy, would become ME, through and through, to the extent where this self-belief is all that I will see and be; locking myself down / into myself to not be able to see the potential of being / becoming anything ‘more’.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to hold onto the characteristics and traits of such a self-belief as “not being good enough”, where this self-belief would become my presence and my actions – leading to giving up / giving in before I even started and in so doing, not showing myself and so others anything different in who I am in word and deed than being undependable and irresponsible – because every time I was given responsibility, I would give up / give in and essentially sabotage the opportunity to prove to myself and others of being capable of doing / being ‘more’

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to not see, realise and understand how my “within” would become my “without” – where: I kept on accepting and allowing self-doubt, insecurity, fear, uselessness to sabotage my relationship to responsibility, then responsibility would come and accept/allow “I am not good enough” to take over – which then leads to me disappointing myself and others when it comes to responsibilities until eventually…I stopped placing myself in ‘responsible’ / ‘dependable’ situations and embraced the ‘irresponsible’ / ‘undependable’ persona
I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed to see, realise and understand how an IDEA of self, becomes a belief, becomes your being and so embodies your actions – such as “I am not good enough” / “I can’t do this” / “I won’t be able to do this”, which then generates emotions of self doubt, insecurity, fear, uselessness etc. and fascinatingly enough – how these relationships becomes a vicious cycle from within self, to the without and then from the without to the within where: first it’s the idea, then the believing of the idea, then the becoming of the idea that is then lived into the outside world, where the outside world will then respond to you as the IDEA you are projecting, which then confirms your IDEA of yourself and so over and over and over again – you are stuck in the cycle of eventual self-destruction

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see, realise and understand the extent to which this initial idea of myself that then became my self-belief – my “I’m not good enough”-religion, the extent to which it possessed me that I did not ever consider changing myself…it’s as though the prospect of change or even being able to change myself was so non-existent that if I were left to my own vices…I would have surely this life not been where I am and who I am in this moment; seeing, realising and understanding how much of ourselves is purely based on ideas / self-beliefs that can be CHANGED – we only don’t realise / see this POTENTIAL because we’re so lost, locked-in and possessed on a mind, being and physical level into and as ideas / beliefs that it seems SO CEMENTED…so unchangeable that we simply do not even consider change…

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see, realise and understand that I would not have been able to assist and support myself in my self-change process – if I was not shown the POTENTIAL I have for change / self-change; this POTENTIAL of change / self change exists within and as the moment you SHOW YOURSELF that you can change / correct yourself, learn from mistakes and so grow, develop and expand within who you are in thought, word and deed – so that the within change, for the without to change; which then completely changes your experience and life experience

In the next post I will continue with Self Forgiveness and Self Commitment Statements – showing how the FIRST INSTANCE of realising that POTENTIAL EXISTS…is where you SHOW YOURSELF you can change, this being the first SEED of SELF POTENTIAL that becomes planted and with being nourished…you will flower / grow into and as your utmost potential…

The Desteni of Living - My Declaration of Principle: DAY 0

The Desteni of Living - My Declaration of Principle: DAY 0

Here are my living principles that I am in the process of living – where I commit myself to assist and support myself to endeavour becoming, being and living these principles until my within and without (who I am within and how I live without) is equal and one - the same - and where I commit myself to live my utmost potential, even beyond this life into the next.

I will walk each Principle in individual posts to come, explaining each one in detail together with practical examples of how living each Principle changed me in assisting and supporting my life and living experience in this world.

1.       Realising and living my utmost potential

2.       Living by the principle of what is best for all – guiding me in thought, word and deed to always in all ways direct problems to the best possible outcome for all

3.       Living by the principle of self honesty – to ensure I am pure in thought, word and deed: that my within and without is equal and one. Who I am within is who I am without and vice-versa

4.       Self Purification through Writing, Self Forgiveness and Self Application – the action of realising I am responsible for my own thoughts, words and deeds, to forgive myself for transgressions and change myself to ensure I take responsibility for who, what and how I am and through this know that I can trust myself to always be honest with me and so others

5.       Living the principle of Self Responsibility – realising only I am responsible for what I accept and allow inside of me, my relationships and my outside world and so with this responsibility: only I have the power and ability to change that which I see is compromising who I am, what I live and how this affects others

6.       Realising that who I am in thought, word and deed affects not only myself – but others as well and so with Self Responsibility in thought, word and deed – I take responsibility for myself and so my relationships to be Self Aware in every moment  and live in such a way that is best for me and so others as well

7.       Living the Principle of Self Awareness – to be aware, to see, to recognize my own thoughts and Mind, to be self honest to the extent where I can take responsibility for when I see my thoughts / Mind is not what is best for me / others and commit to immediately take responsibility and change for myself and so for others

8.       With taking responsibility for myself, becoming aware of myself – take responsibility and become aware of others in my life, to assist and support them as I am assisting and supporting myself – to give as you would like to receive and do the extra bit every day to see where I can contribute to other’s lives and so my own

9.       Living the principle of self trust – as I commit myself to remain constant in my living of self honesty, self responsibility and self awareness, I stand as an unbending trust that I always in all ways know who I am no matter what I face and that in this I know, as proven in the constancy of my living that I will always honour and stand by what is best for all and so best for me

10.    Making Love Visible – through me not accepting/allowing anything less than my utmost potential, I support those in my life to reach their utmost potential, to love them as I have shown love to myself by gifting to me my utmost potential, the best life/living experience and show others as I have shown myself what it means to LIVE

11.    No one can save you, save yourself – the realisation that the tools and principles of Desteni is the guide, but I must walk the path myself. We are here to assist and support each other in this process from Consciousness to Awareness/LIFE and what it means to live – but the process itself, where you are alone with yourself in your own Mind: is walked alone

12.    Not waiting for anything or anyone to take responsibility for me and this world – but that I realise I have created who and how I am in this moment, therefore I have the responsibility to change who and how I am and so the realisation that we as a collective created how and what this world is today and so it is the responsibility of the collective to change how and what this world is today

13.    Honouring the life in each person, animal – everything from the great to the small of earth, that we expand our awareness and responsibility to creating the best possible life for everyone and everything and so ourselves

14.    Relationships as Agreements: individuals coming together using agreements as a platform to one-on-one expand, grow and develop as individuals in life and living to support/assist each other unconditionally to reach their utmost potential where the agreement is a coming together of individuals understanding what it means to stand as equals and to stand as one

15.    Sex as Self Expression – where sex is an united expression between individuals in honour, respect, consideration and regard of each other as equals, two physical bodies uniting in equality and oneness – a merging of two equals as one physically.

16.    Realising that by the virtue of me being in this world – my responsibility does not only extend to my own Mind / my own Life, but to the minds and lives of everything and everyone of this earth and so my commitment is to extend this awareness to all of humanity to work together and live together to make this world heaven on earth for ourselves and the generations to come

17.    I must in my thoughts, words and deeds – but most importantly in my living actions, become a living example for others in my world that is noticeable and visible when it comes to the potential of a person to change themselves and so change their world. So that more people can realise how we can change this world, by standing united in our self change within the principle of what is best for all to bring heaven to earth

18.    I am the change I want to see in me and my world – to bring heaven to earth is to bring into being, into living the LIVING PROOF of a PRACTICAL HEAVEN that can be seen and heard in our actions and words. We are the Living Heaven that must come into creation in this living world.

19.    Through purifying my thoughts, words and deeds – my inner becomes my outer, so I bring into creation me as heaven into earth, realising it is not enough to ‘see the change / be the change’ – for change to become REAL it must be a constant, consistent living of me through the words I speak and the actions I live visible and noticeable to all in every moment of breath

20.    Realising that my physical body is my temple – my physical body is the living flesh through which and in which I will bring into being and create / manifest heaven on earth as me in my thoughts, words and deeds and so I honour, respect and regard – nurture and support my physical body as I would nurture and support me as equals: my body is me

21.    We are the change in ourselves and this world we have been waiting for: and so I commit to dedicate myself and my life for each one as all to realise this, as nothing will change if we don’t change in all that we are, within and without

22.    The realisation that for me to be able to change myself in thought, word and deed to the most effective living being that I can be and become – I first have to ‘know thyself’ and so commit myself to investigate, introspect and understand how I became who I am today, to prepare the road before me into self creation of a responsible, aware, self honest and trustworthy person for myself and so for all

23.    The realisation that for me to be able to contribute to change in this world – I have to get to ‘know thyself’ as this world and so commit myself to research, investigate and introspect the inner and outer workings of this world and align the systems of today to present and give the best possible life for all on Earth
